We had a pretty good Christmas this year! Joe had to work on Christmas day so we woke Porter and Adlee up at 5am so that Joe could see them open their gifts. Joe went off to work and I had the joy of coercing them back to sleep. We were not quite sure but maybe if we went back to sleep Santa might come back again and leave more presents. It ends up that it doesn't work like that but thank goodness for Grandma and Grandpa and their sack of toys.
The kids got way to much... as always! I look at everything wondering how in the world we are going to fit one more thing in to our home and then the toys are magically absorbed into the chaos that is our life.
Here the kids on Christmas Eve. Look at Hudson's little grin..melt my heart!
5am is super early!
Adlee loves her doll and kitchen!
Adlee helps Hudson unwrap his toy!
Porter and his new bike!
Hudson loves his Rex dino!
The kids were in their very first Church Christmas program a couple weeks ago! Adlee and Porter both had songs to sing and a poem to recite.
Porter played with Adlee's hair, Adlee yelled stop several times very loudly, I was sure their was going to be a brawl before it was over.
Adlee was always a bit behind on the motions:)
The kids with Santa and no one is crying!
Look, it's Melvin our Christmas Elf! Melvin spends the month of December with us watching over the kids and then he reports back to Santa each night. Every morning Melvin is in a new spot in the house and the kids have a Melvin scavenger hunt each morning. We ♥♥♡♡♡ Melvin and we are sad to see him go back to his North Pole home. Only 334 days until he comes back!
I love our chalk door!
I love our stocking sign!
