Baby #3

Its official we are going to have baby Harris #3 in December. We went today for the ultrasound and the big reveal. Little stinker would not uncross its legs for the first 45 minutes so it took a little pushing and shaking to get the desired info.

Fishing

Porter, Joe and a friend went out last week to go fishing. It was hot out and they decided to fish for catfish. Between all of them they caught 2 catfish. Porter thought the boat ride and releasing the fish were more fun than anything.

Bath Time

Here is proof that we do actually give the kids a bath sometimes. We can't help it if they only stay clean for 2.5 seconds but we do try.

You can see Adlee's tan lines a bit. She has such pretty dark toned skin. Poor albino Porter has no chance I think he has skin like his grandma Kathy.

Bunny

I am a little post happy today but I wanted to put this on here before I forgot. We had dinner with some friends last week who have three really cute bunnies. Both kids were in awe of the bunnies and just wanted to squeeze them.

Roaring Springs

We got up early this morning, packed our lunches, and took off to the water park. We spend all day splashing and swimming. Porter went down the slides, played in the wave pool, floated on the tubes, and had a great time. Adlee is a little trooper but the sun, water, and all the noise gets to be to much for her so she napped a couple times. About 3 o'clock we were all ready to go home. Here are a few pictures from our day I wish I would have taken more.

Family Fun

Joe decided to saddle up the horses and take the kids for a ride today. Porter loved riding with his dad and kept yelling, "giddy up" to go faster. He wore his own spurs and smiled the whole time. Adlee was not quite so happy but she handled it for a bit. We got some really cute pictures of them both. I tried to ride but got in trouble by Joe when I rode the horse into our lawn. Apparently I am not a horse whisperer because the darn horse would not do a thing I asked it to do. We can't wait for the day that Joe can saddle up the horses and take off with the kids on a ride.

Porter's Mess

Adlee is walking!

She is 5 days shy of 10 months old. She is getting the hang of things and really getting better with her balance.

New Pictures

We finally made it to get Adlee's 9 month pictures done. We were only 2 weeks late. I think the pictures turned out pretty cute. It was our first time going to Portrait Innovations. They took over 80 pictures and then we had the task of sitting and narrowing them down to the ones we wanted. They gave us the cd of all the pics so here are a few from today's session.
