The Hawks

Porter is just old enough to play wiffle ball this year. Imagine a group of 3 and 4 year old boys trying to play organized sports. It is quite funny and a little bit painful to watch. Porter favorite thing to do is balance his "mitten" on his head. He also does not see the point in running the bases when he can beat the other kids by cutting across the field. He has had two practices and has two games this week. Here are some pictures from his first practice. I am hoping to get some pictures of his game tomorrow.

Our New Toy

We just purchased a 2003 travel trailer off of craigslist and have been cleaning it and trying to figure it all out. The kids have their own bunk beds in it which was the big selling point for us. We are ready to go try this thing out and have some fun. Joe has 3 and 4 day weekends for all of June and July so hopefully we'll be doing some serious camping this summer.

Porter decided we needed to make cupcakes for Grandma Kari's birthday on Monday. Well, as you can see things did not go so well. While I am a great one handed and legged vacuumer I found out I am not so good at one handed cupcake making. I was trying to hold a crying baby and help Porter prepare the cupcakes and it was a huge catastrophe. We end up with a screaming baby, a not so great 3 year old baking assistant covered in cake batter, and a huge mess on the floor that Adlee was trying to help clean up (with her tongue). Someday I will laugh at these memories....right?

Just a cute picture of Adlee I thought I would add. Doesn't she look like a little angel? Heehee.... Adlee an angel.

His not so new trick!

Hudson has been rolling over for several weeks now but I just finally grabbed the camera to capture his new skill. Just so I feel better let me tell you that I had just (like 30 seconds earlier) vacuumed the floor. Which as a side note I am incredibly good at vacuuming while holding a baby and dragging a kid on my leg. That should go on my resume :) Now that I look at the pictures I really need to remember to put a blanket down before putting the baby on the floor because these really bug me.

Isn't he so cute? Look at those big eyes.

Three little muffins

I tried getting a picture of all three kids together today. It didn't work out. The attempt today ended with two out three in tears and a not so happy mom. For some reason I do not think we will be getting a good picture of all three kids together for a very long time.

Last night!

Just a few pictures from last night.

Adlee's no-no face and finger pointing.

Hudson happily bouncing away! Isn't he huge?

Porter did not feel well so he fell asleep at 7:30. :(

This morning. Thank you Kathy for sending a ginormous tub of muscle men to keep Joe busy.

New pictures

Why am I up at 1:30 in the morning? This is when I get my quiet time. I could get so much done in the middle of the night especially if I did not have to worry about waking everyone up. Anyways, since I'm up I thought I would add a couple pictures.

We have been busy.

Things are just getting back to normal. We started the month out by putting our house up for sale. We have been sprucing it up and fixing things that should have been done long ago. Then we headed to McCall for the winter carnival for several days. We played in the snow, swam, looked at snow sculptures, and sat in the hot tub. We got home and decided to go ahead and replace the kitchen/dining room floor. Joe spent one day tearing out all of the tile and the next putting in the new floor. Then my grandparents came over for a few days to visit. The day after they left Keith and Kathy came over to stay for a bit. We celebrated Hudson turning 2 months old, Joe's 32nd birthday, and my 29th. Let's see how many pictures I can add.
