Adlee: the big three year old!

Adlee has never been one for getting her pictures taken, but now that she is not a baby anymore she was much more cooperative. I hope this is telling of what three years old will be for Adlee, because she is a lot of thing but usually cooperative is not one of them.

Adlee's 3rd Birthday

Our little girl turned three on Friday. We threw a small party for her and had lots of fun. She asked for princess dresses, Tinkerbell cake, and a yata (pinata).

One more cute picture.Our traditional end of trip photo. We had been rained on, snowed on, hailed on, rolled in dirt and marshmallows and needed showers badly.

Summer!!!

School is out but the weather has not been summer like. We keep getting a few days of good weather followed by a storm. When the weather is good we are all outside enjoying it. Porter starts whiffle ball this week :) and we are taking off to McCall for our first camping trip of the season.

Adlee does not like to have her picture taken but she is enjoying fixing her own hair. She comes up with some creative hairdos. One day Joe refused to be seen with her in a store because of her crazy accessories.


Speaking of accessories here is Hudson's :) Yeah Adlee was potty training at his age and he just wants to wear the potty seat around. It actually was stuck I had a small moment of panic where I imagined having to take him in to have a potty seat cut from his neck.

The first Easter post

We made dino eggs a couple nights ago. I love the purple one.
I came across a tutorial on silk dyed eggs and decided we had to try it.

I bought silk ties from the youth ranch for a dollar each.


Silk dye is not edible quality so these are just to look at but I think they turned out pretty neat.

I have no idea why this picture is on our computer. Joe was looking for something and came across this. He was amazed because he thought Hailey looked a lot like Adlee....at least the scowling, lip curling, not so happy expression. I was amazed at how young and little Scott looks :)
Was Hailey 2 1/2 or 3 1/2 here?
